About this project

The African American AIDS History Project is a crowd-contributed archive of African American responses to the HIV/AIDS epidemic. It includes printed matter, posters, oral histories, and archival video. The project has benefited from the generous support of the Point Foundation and the Chris Webber Memorial Fund, as well as the work of Maria Santiago, Lindsey Maxwell, Keegan Shepherd, Eric Gonzaba, Christine Monge, and FIU students in AMH 4573: African American History since the Civil War.
